BIOGRAPHY:
Ivana Straska Szakal practices counselling and individual therapy in Oakville and Etobicoke under the supervision of a Registered Psychologist or Registered Psychological Associate who are members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
Ivana is a member of Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapist (OACCPP). She obtained international and Canadian education in counselling, individual therapy and behavioural science. Ivana has over 14 years experience working in education, public and private mental health services.
Ivana has diverse professional scope extended in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Behavioural science, Mindfulness, Energy therapy andReiki Tummo. She enjoys caring for any age group, from children to adults. She has a special interest in caring for children and young people diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). In addition she has elected energy healing and Reiki Tummo. Ivana is also trained by Padmacahaya, International Institute for Inner Study.
Her practice includes individual therapy, small group workshops, prevention of mental diseases and personal growth. Ivana is continuously expending her scope of knowledge and has been involved in a number of postgraduate short-term educations.
Ivana is involved in autism community and energy healing. She enjoys natural life style, yoga practice, hiking, and self-development. She creates welcoming, loving and relaxing environment. She is a holistic practitioner in personal and professional life.
Rachel Smith
Director
Rachel Smith has been working with children for over 15 years. As a Graduate from McMaster University, Rachel has worked with over 150+ children helping the children and their families reach their goals. Rachel is an approved Senior IBI Therapist and has extensive experience working with children with special needs. Rachel will assess, design and implement an individualized program that best meets the needs of your child. Rachel Smith is an approved Senior Therapist working with several families under the DFO option available to families who are eligible for IBI funding through various regional providers.
Dr. Dan Dalton
Registered Psychologist
Dr. Dan Dalton is a Registered Psychologist certified by the College of Psychologists of Ontario and is listed with the Canadian Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology.
Dr. Dalton is in full time private practice with over 30 years of experience providing assessment and treatment services to children, youth, adults, couples and families.
As a registered Psychologist, Dr. Dalton supervises counselling services throughout the Greater Toronto Area, and south central Ontario.
